It was 11:58 a.m., April 22, 1889...
A young man stands between his two older brothers, the air is charged with anticipation. Amidst the low rumbling of voices, all at once a loud “boom” is heard. It sounds like thunder from the heavens, but it was actually the sound of a cannon starting the Land Run into Oklahoma Territory. It would not be until 1907 that Oklahoma would become a state. The young man was my great grand father, John Anthony Foust, my namesake. From that day forward, his family has lived in Oklahoma following the example of hard work and determination he showed in settling this untamed territory all those years ago.

These are the cornerstones on which Da Vinci Homes is built. Da Vinci Homes is one of the few home builders to be a combined Certified Professional Home Builder, an accredited GREEN Home Builder certified by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) AND an Energy Star Partner.

The National Association of Home Builders’ Certified Green Professional™ designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes— without driving up the cost of construction. This means that continuing education is required to maintain this certification and certain higher standards are also required.

We are also a member of the Builders Association of South Central Oklahoma (BASCO), the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and the Better Business Bureau.
